Freschetta Brick Oven Pizza

Pizza is a food group all on it’s on in my world; I eat it when I’m feeling too lazy to cook, I often eat it when I go out, when I have company, it fits all occasions. You get a wonderful combination of (at least) bread, dairy, and vegetable in every single slice, and usually a meat as well. The fact that they’re so easily frozen and cooked is certainly a plus.

Today, I bring you Freschetta Brick Oven style frozen pizza. I ate the pepperoni version, but I’ll take the risk and assume that each variety is of comparable quality. Quality! That is something this particular brand / variety / style of pizza is absolutely loaded with. Though Tombstone Stuffed Crust comes close, this may be the best frozen pizza I’ve ever had the pleasure to consume.

The crust was crispy, but not hard at all. The cheese actually tasted like real cheese. The sauce had a bit of a kick to it, but nothing too extravagant (meaning it wasn’t over powering). The pepperonis were extraordinary; nice chunks of meat; not those super thin slices that burn to a crisp in the oven. I can honestly offer no complaints for Freschetta’s product.

Your calories will no doubt vary by variety, so I wont list a bunch of nutritional information. The price will fluctuate store by store depending on sales and specials. Mine was around $6 and worth every single penny, and then some. I give this a very, very strong recommendation. Enjoy!
