George Dickel – Super Bowl Party Treats
Part seven, best for last. I’m keeping this one a bit short, because we should all be getting ready for our big parties by now. Is this George Dickel whiskey guilt free? Well… in moderation
This mixes baby butt smooth with the Coke Zero I recommended earlier, especial if you mix it on the ‘conservative’ side.
Why this over a Jack Daniels, or Crown Royal? It’s cheaper and tastes better. It’s that simple. If the name is new to you, and you’re a whiskey fan, I strongly encourage you to try it.
And for something to kick up the limeade? Take your pick of a favorite tequila, or a citrus vodka. I haven’t consumed enough varieties or either to give you a real solid recommendation, but I imagine it will be hard to go wrong unless you buy the bottom shelf stuff. Alcohol is the one thing you shouldn’t ever try to go cheap on; you’ll regret it in the morning.
Good luck tonight! Go Giatriots!!!

As far as whiskeys go, I usually go between Jameson (The sweet Catholic Irish whiskey) and Bush Mills (the dry Protestant Irish whiskey). It’s like a gunfight in my stomach over religion.
Dickel is pretty good too.

I do like Bushmills (and I get a lot of crap from my friends for it) but the best in whiskey is Jim Beam Black Label. There’s nothing smoother and you’ll be happy with its potency. I haven’t tried the Dickel yet, but will now. What’s it run a bottle roughly?

Couple bucks cheaper than J.D. The white label is better than the black, but both are good.

Re: Andy- There is a distinct difference between Tennessee whiskey and Kentucky bourbon. Step over to the other side.

I’d take Beam over Daniels any day.

The captcha for this post is “hugs”, which I need after I drink any sort of bourbon. BLECK!
