I use Firefox because I love the add-ons/extensions, but I have to say, I've never had trouble with IE - - but that was probably because I also used Spyware Terminator and Avast! along with it...

The thing that bugs me the most is that it is not totally compliant when it comes to web standards, security issues aside.

Many web applications used by businesses (which might be where a lot of your traffic may come from) mandate the usage of some form of IE, since company apps might require ActiveX to run - not only that, but IE updates and patches can be controlled at a centralized location via WSUS.

Unfortunately, IE won't be going anywhere soon - long live Firefox!

The main attraction is that it doesn't include ActiveX, which is what gives most MicroSoft users spyware through the browser. The plugins make it have so many features that I couldn't even begin to imagine. Opera probably the best for speed, but Firefox is the best for customization, accessibility and compatibility.
