Jolt Energy Mints
America, I humbly announce to you the arrival of ‘new crack.’ I’ve eaten energy enhancing Frankenfoods before, but none were as tasty, or as potent as Jolt’s Mint Flurry Energy Mints. Wow, good stuff here!
As a candy, Jolt Energy Mints are very tasty. Every time I review a food product containing caffeine, I’m expecting some bitterness. If not bitterness, the other flavors are usually so over powering that it’s a turn off. Neither is the case here. The mints are strong enough to do what mints are generally made to do; freshen your breath and cleanse your palette. But they’re not painfully harsh like an Altoid. I would consume these regardless; energy or no energy.
The energy boost is no joke. Five Jolt Energy Mints (also known as ‘one serving’) equals the caffeine you’d find in an average cup of coffee. I’d go as far as to say a really strong cup of coffee, I could really feel the affect of these amazing little pieces of energy enhancing Heaven. The let down was gradual, nothing resembling a crash.
Jolt Energy Mints receive my full recommendation; unless you’re caffeine sensitive I cannot see how you wouldn’t enjoy them. Online retailers may be your best bet; I haven’t seen these in many stores. Shop around for a good price! Yum!

How much do they consider a typical “serving” of caffeine? Drop coffee can be 1-200 mg of caffeine!

Packaging isn’t clear; I’m guessing 80-100 mgs.

This company needs to market this product to truckstops as a legal alternative to keep freight drivers awake for long periods of time.

Clearly says on the package; ‘Not a substitute for sleep.’ Still, not a bad idea. I bet you do find either these or similar products in those locations.

We will just keep swindel sheets (i.e. two books). Roll on 18-wheeler roll on……’keep on truckin’…make sure you get your fair share of those fuel surcharges on the load!

Hi there,
I just stumbled accross your blog by using stumbleupon and love the design of the whole thing! I normally skip straight past food blogs as I have over 20 in my RSS and dont even have enough time to read the ones that I have! I am started out as a blogger myself and always tried to keep the design simple like yours as I think it is crucial, especially if you can back it up with some nice food pics like yours! Keep up the good work and if you feel like sharing some of the photos with other foodies pop over to http://www.ifoods.tv which is my new site for foodies! Cheers!
