MorningStar Farms

I have been a pescatarian since the day I was born.  I’ve never had a hamburger, never cut into a steak or visited many popular fast-food joints.  Call my family crazy, but that’s just how I was raised and at this point in my life I see no need to change that.  One of the first questions I get when people find out I’ve never had meat, they usually ask me what I do eat, how I get my protein and what on earth my mother was thinking when she signed me up for a life without meat.

My answer? Morningstar Farms!  This is a vegetarian (and often vegan) food company that makes meat substitute products.  They make soy vegetarian hamburgers, sausage, lasagna, chick’n and about a dozen other foods.  Thoroughly delicious, Morningstar Farms food looks exactly like real meat and from what I’ve heard tastes quite convincingly like the real thing.  And they’re not just for the vegetarian, vegan, pescatarian group either.  Many dieters love Morningstar Farms because their products have around 75% less fat and many calories fewer than meat.  And you know what? Some people eat it because it just tastes great!

So whether you eat a meatless diet and you’re looking for a new food or you just want to shake up your meals Morningstar Farms is the way to go! Definite “Yea!”

[...] MorningStar Farms’ Lasagna with Sausage-Style Crumbles is one of MorningStar Farms’ entrées that was new to me and as a dedicated MorningStar food fan, I was surprised this one had slipped past me. When I saw it at my local Walmart I had to snatch it up.  With 42% less fat than the leading frozen lasagna entrée, 270 calories per serving and 20g of protein that I desperately need as a pescatarian. MorningStar Farms rarely disappoints me but unfortunately this meal didn’t quite do it for me. [...]

In Boston enthusiasm for Obama (or simply hatred for Romney) is way up. It's a big country - everyone lives in their own bubble. Judging from my acaniautqnces - and I'm a white guy in the business world - I would guess that Obama has a 99.9% chance of being reelected. I'm sure someone living in Dallas has a completely opposite view. We do seem to be at the point where the country is so big and so disparate that polling is just guesswork. Direct elections are probably basically meaningless as well at this point.

Heidi, you’re again presenting misinformation. The debt DOES go away. You no longer owe that debt.Yes, the portion of the debt that has been forgiven may become income, which is taxable. But paying taxes on a fraction of the debt that has turned into income is not the same thing as owing a debt collector. Sheesh.
